The Ashland Independent School District will be closed March 29th – April 2nd, 2021 for Spring Break. The Food Service Department will NOT be serving meals during Spring Break. The drive-thru system will resume services on Monday, April 5th, 2021 with revisions to our current locations. Students choosing the virtual platform may receive meals at Paul G. Blazer High School. All other sites will no longer provide drive-thru services. Any Ashland Independent student choosing the virtual learning platform may pick up meals at Blazer regardless of their home school. The meal service times will remain the same. We will serve from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Monday and Wednesday each student will receive an additional breakfast and lunch for the non-service days. In order to receive a meal, the child must be present OR the parent/guardian must present the student’s meal card to the food service worker at the time of meal pick-up. This service format will continue through Friday, May 28, 2021.
We will continue to keep parents abreast of any changes. If you have questions please contact Linda Calhoun or Lena Reese at 606-327-2706. You may also contact your child’s school cafeteria manager.
