My name is Molly Page and I am from Dunbar, WV. I started playing violin when strings class was offered through the WV Symphony's outreach program at Dunbar Middle School in the 6th grade. That one class selection changed my life and is why I'm your teacher today. I studied Music (violin) Performance and Music Education at Marshall University and graduated with a BFA in Music (Performance) and BA in Music Education. After graduating from Marshall University I attended the University of Miami's Frost School of Music in Miami, Florida where I was a teaching assistant for the Donna E. Shalala MusicReach program. During this time I taught strings to elementary and middle school aged children in under-served schools and afterschool programs. I graduated with a Master of Music in Music Education from UM on May 11, 2017. I now live in Ashland with my husband Craig, who is a touring musician and our dog Rocket. This is my fourth year teaching orchestra for Ashland Independent Schools.
