Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:
The Hager Site-Based Decision Making Council has updated our school’s Network Access and Telephone Usage Policy 12.02. As a result of the policy change, devices (phones, tablets, etc.) cannot be visible or in use prior to the beginning of school (7:55 a.m.). Once school has begun, only with permission from a staff member can a student access their personal device. Handheld game systems are no longer permitted at school unless special events are occurring. Smartphones can only be used for the purpose of network access after students have passed a digital driver’s license course and returned the Acceptable Use Agreement form. If a student uses a smartphone for a reason other than network access he/she will lose their privilege of using that device.
