The AMS Solve for Tomorrow team met with Senator Mitch McConnell in Washington D.C. on Wednesday 5/16/18. AMS Samsung team was honored by the Mayor and City commissioners. The AMS parade gets ready to go. AMS wins addition $20,000 as the community choice winner. AMS Parade AMS named Samsung Solve for Tomorrow National Champions AMS Samsung Solve for Tomorrow team appears on Good Morning America Wednesday, April 11th. AMS Samsung Solve for Tomorrow presentation team. AMS Samsung team members meet with the Ashland Police Department regarding their project. Samsung Solve for Tomorrow team members present in the rotunda at the Capitol. Congratulations to Ashland Middle School for being named a National Top 10 Finalist in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Competition. Congratulations to Ashland Middle School for being selected as a National Top 10 Finalist in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition.  As a national finalist the school will receive $50,000 in equipment from Samsung. Congratulations to Ashland Middle for being name the Kentucky Winner in the Samsung Solve for tomorrow competition.  As the state winner the school will receive $25,000 in equipment from Samsung. Ashland Middle School robotics team Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles placed second in regional competition. Ashland Middle School Robotics team the Savage Narwhals won first place in the Regional RCX competition.

Ashland Middle School Named Samsung Solve For Tomorrow State Champion

Congratulations to Ashland Middle School’s Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Team! They have been named as Kentucky state champions and will be advancing to the next stage in the competition, where they will attempt to repeat as national champions! As state champions, they have already won $20,000 in new technology and are still in the running for the grand prize of $100,000!

The Ashland Independent Board of Education will accept sealed bids at its office at 1820 Hickman Street, Ashland, Kentucky, until Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 10:00 am

District Fiber Service

All bids are to be sealed in an envelope and clearly identified as “District-wide Network Upgrade”.  Instructional packets may be obtained at the Central Office of the District at 1820 Hickman Street, Ashland, Kentucky 41101 or online at www.ashland.kyschools.us.  All bids should be delivered or mailed to the address listed above.  Formal consideration of the bids will occur at the next regular called meeting of the Ashland Independent Board at the Central Office.

The Ashland Independent Board of Education reserves the right to award or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the manner of bids presented.
