Coffee House

This Saturday the High School Orchestras will be fundraising for a trip next year in the Blazer Cafeteria. We will have food, drinks, a silent auction table and a variety of music. It is $5 to get in, $1 drinks and desserts, and if you haven't gotten an Ashland strings shirt or decal yet, we will also have what was left from our fundraiser earlier this year. Doors are open at 6:30, music will start around 7.

Academic Team/State Championship

Academic Team

Blazer Academic Team! They competed in the Governor’s Cup State Championship. This group has outworked many opponents and accomplished great accolades this year.  We swept the competition in the general knowledge test with 1st (Logan Coovert), 4th(Melanie Grimm), 7th(Courtney Lewis), 9th (Chrissy Brown) and 10th(Mackenzie Clere). Payton Scott got 10th in writing composition and Chrissy Brown got 9th in AH, both scoring higher than anyone in our region! Our three testers in LA all were in top 20. Our other two AH testers were also in top 20 and one SS in top 20 too. Hayleigh Buckler placed 2nd in Future Problem Solving – Alternates Division.

A big thanks to Amber Tackett and Jeff Kennard. Please congratulate these amazing, hardworking kids if you see them today.
