Cirque Zuma Zuma

Our students were treated to a performance by Cirque Zuma Zuma, known as the “ultimate African circus,” this show is filled with non‐stop action and African culture, including dance, acrobatics, tumbling, and music. Cirque Zuma Zuma features disciplined performers who are trained in Kenya and Tanzania. Many describe it as an African‐style Cirque du Soleil; such is the standard of the performers and the quality of the show.

Solar Eclipse and Eye Safety Resources for August 21

A total solar eclipse is probably the most spectacular astronomical event that most people will experience in their lives. There is a great deal of interest in watching eclipses, but it must be done safely.  Because of this exceptional opportunity, there is concern that people will be more likely to stare at the Sun during this event.  Improper viewing of the Sun during an eclipse can result in eye injuries such as the development of "eclipse blindness" or retinal burns.

More information may be found at:

All Schools Closed Monday August 21

As a safety precaution, school will be closed on Monday, Aug 21, 2017 due to the Solar Eclipse. All after school activities will be suspended until 4:30 pm following the eclipse window. Students will make this day up on Friday March 16, 2018 which was a scheduled PD day.
