GRADUATION

Graduation exercises will take place Thursday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Putnam Stadium (weather permitting).  In the event of inclement weather, graduation will take place in Anderson Gymnasium.

2018-2019 SBDM PARENT NOMINATIONS SOUGHT

Blazer High School is seeking nominations for parent members for our Site-Based Decision Making Council for the 2018-2019 school year.  Nomination forms are available on the website under downloads or forms can be picked up in the main office.  Nominations will be sought until Friday, April 27.  SBDM Parent Election will take place Wednesday, May 2nd from 7:30-5:30 in the main office.

New KY Immunization Requirements coming in 2018

Effective July 1, 2018 all students in kindergarten through twelfth grade must show proof of having received two doses of Hepatitis A vaccine to attend school, and students age 16 or older, must show proof of having received two doses of Meningococcal ACWY vaccine (MenACWY) to attend school.  Please refer to the attached document for more information.

McKinney-Vento Grant available for homeless assistance

The Ashland Independent School District receives the McKinney-Vento grant. This grant allows our schools to help families who are in transition or homeless. If you are homeless or in transition and you need assistance please call Christine Scott, homeless coordinator at 606-327-2706.

Title I - In the Know Night

On Tuesday evening, April 24, 2018 at 5:00 pm the district will be hosting a Title I informational seminar.  The session will take place at the KYOVA Mall.  Questions regarding Infinite Campus, kindergarten, school readiness and much more will be addressed.  We hope you will mark your calendar and join us.
